Rhianna...Cassie...Why?

Yeah I know I'm late....Shoot me...lol..Now I hate to play favorites and I know a few people won't appreciate it, but I'm going against the grain and choosing not to post what I'm sure you've already seen.

I mean ladies, getting naked on cam is so overrated. Trust, it hurt the stock more than it helps. True even more men will probably lust for both, that in itself is not a negative until you look past the current frenzy. I highly doubt these pics were leaked by Cassie or Rhi Rhi themselves. I know Cassie may seem like she would because of her upcoming album, but from the tight leash she is kept on, I highly doubt she would have taken the initiative to do something that drastic. Especially being the side piece of a well paid mogul. Not necessary.

I'm more concerned about Rhi Rhi's leak. Though the fashionista is known to push boundaries and can create a visual fashion masterpiece with little or no effort, she does it in a classy way. Rhianna isn't the type of chick you catch the paps snapping cooter pics of when she's off on a drunk or getting out her car. So the release of pictures she may have chosen to send someone she cared about in confidence, I feel violates her. And I don't think its a coincedince that she's been out having a good ole time since her "lil issue" and trying to move on with her life. Her ex has a lonely birthday with little fanfare and voila, get back insues. And that, I'm not going to participate in. NO bitchassness!

True, Cassies shots are up. And though it may sound a bit contradictary, I can't quite be sure who posted them. But seeing as though Cassies pics leaked (spread eagle? Chile NO!) and I was immediately shaking my head. Wrong, wrong, wrong in so many ways. Rhi Rhi's broke less than 24 hours later. Proving even when trying to "trash it out" she can't win for losing.

Sidenote: Cassie, suga. I'mma need you to pick up a pen and a pad and take notes on Rhi Rhi's pics. I'm not advocating either, but atleast her's left something to be desired.

New Video: Rick Ross Ft. The Dream "All I Really Want"

I really like the feel of this track. The Dream really compliments it. I saw him getting it in on the vocal and production side and all I can say is "magnificent." You go boy! This that feel good, body rock music. Grown folk. Uon no nuttin bout that.*wink* Shot in the beautiful Columbia, the home of notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar, Bawse admitted his handlers were a bit concerned about safety. Either way, they made it out well with a nice video in a gorgeous tropical paradise.




I'm not a Rawse stan at all but to keep it funky, he's beginning to grow on me. I wasn't following the masses with the first album but the 50 Cent controversy made me do some checking on what I determine to be pertinent, the drops, lyrics and consistency. I mean, I've been rocking with 50 since Power of the Dollar, and although I'm not a stan, controversy aside, he makes or made hits.

Now giving Rawse look, I have to say he's really proving to be a great lyrist with some decent content. I know both of these cats have had alot of drama in the past few weeks leading up to Ross' album release, but I think that they both are talented in their own right. I hate to say it but I'm almost glad to see the Pimpin Curly shit donne and over. It was getting a bit coonish. And if I hear one more "muuunnkey" out of Rawse's mouth, I'm gonna snap. Being a fellow artist, let's take a lesson from our musician in other genres and stick to making good music. Leave the bullshit for the birds and blogs. *wink* When you become an active part of it, your stock losses more than you gain.

Rhianna Out In NYC

The stealth Pop Princess Rhianna showed up in New York to do a bit of shopping and apartment shopping sporting a new doo and rose colored shades that are the biz-naz! I have to say, Ms. Thang is almost always on point with her fashion sense. Lawd knows if her career in music won't rebound, this chile can hang some threads. Gone gurl! You betta wurk!

You know a fashionista like Rhi Rhi was hounded by the paps. As if they have anything better to do. Swag it out ma! And look fabulous as usual while doing so!

MC Spotlight! Blu Live!

This cat has been brewing on the underground for a minute now. His last drop is STILL in regular rotation in my collection. He's fresh and his lyrics are on point. His delivery is impeccable as he finesses beats cooked up by some of my favorite producers in the game. *Shout outs to Exile!*

Here he performed one of my favorite joints of the album "Dancin in the Rain," performed in the rain. The beat is incredible and Blu... well just have a listen.

Chris Brown Arrested: Update

As interesting as this all is, I know this is a procedural thing and of course was to be expected from a mega star like Chris Brown. Chris has posted his $50,000 bail and has been released. Since the details are sketchy, I'll jump to conclusions and speculate. I think this is all just a bit of payback for him dissing her after she had that lil flare up. Nothing wrong with being dumped, happens to everyone. But when you're Rihanna, it's kinda hard to take that on the chin when your man is our fallandering with another bucket head and the whole world is watching. So.... I s'pose she got some ole island justice on ya boy, or is it just a woman scorned? Well that's my theory and I'm sticking to it. Most important: Domestic violence is never ok. If someone you know is being abused, knock the shit out of them for taking it and take to sticks to the abuser's ass. Just kidding!

Grammy Recap

I'm pretty disgusted with where music is right now. It seems like hip hop is in a depression as well. The Grammy's was a small bit of light for some of us to dream of making it to this stage, surrounded by our fellow successful peers being acknowledged for your accomplishments. A wonderful feeling I imagine. I have to admit, this is the atmosphere that I was looking for. However minus the emotional performance from J. Hud which received a much deserved standing ovation, the Grammys were kinda lacking. Unfortunately the opening the the show was visibly just thrown together, I'm guessing at the last moment because of that Chris/Rihanna lil situation. Uncle Al embarrassed himself, and me. Please stop dancing Al!!!

One highlight was Coldplay who won a couple Grammy's and performed with Jay Z.


Then of course we had the world premier performance of "Swagger like Us" with all the brothas being loosely referred to as the hip hop rat pack and all swagged it out in gentlemens attire, black and white suits. Bravo gentleman. That's true swag. Oh, and how in the world could I forget M.I.A. and all her pregnant glory. Word is she was set to drop tonight so look for her to welcome her now bundle any day now.

Chris Brown Booked! Beat Rihanna's Ass??

Chris Breezy has just been booked on one count of felony criminal threats. Brown was being questioned after an altercation that allegedly occurred last night with a "mystery girl", since victims of domestic offenses names and information is withheld. Allegedly, after an argument, Brown and the woman got into a physical altercation leaving her with bruises and calling the po po. Speculation swirls that the mystery woman is his current girlfriend, with whom he has has a rocky few weeks with. The pair was scheduled to perform at the Grammy's and both canceled. Reps for Rihanna says she is doing well.

Brown turned himself in to the Los Angeles County police where the charges were downgraded from felonyassault to felony criminal threats and is being held on $50,000 bond.

I'm sorry but I get the feeling this is the Bajan beauty giving ole Chris the biznaz for the pics of his jump off that showed up this week. Maybe the argument was over that. Or maybe she finally told him it WAS herpes on her lip and it was a reflex hit. I'm stumped. Any guesses?(thx tmz for the pics!)

Killer Cop FINALLY Arrested!!

This piece of shit, Johannes Mehserle(pictured left), the BART police officer who shot and killed unarmed Oscar Grant has finally been arrested. The arrest comes after riots broke out following the unprovoked New Years Day shooting of Mr. Grant(pictured right) when the BART officer was questioned the Tuesday following the shooting and refused to cooperate. The officer later submitted his resignation. Mehserle fled to Nevada because he claimed to be in fear of his life after recieving death threats.

I don't condone unprovoked violence against anyone, but you know he has what's coming to him. Three words you should become familiar with: BEAT THE DOOR!

Passa X? Dark Man to become Pastor

Seems all that time in 'zona with those thick necks and pink undergarments have gotten the best of DMX. In a recent interview, an incarcerated X spoke of his future plans to become a man of God and how he plans to use his celebrity to bring others closer to Christ.


Jesus be a drug rehabilitation program and a bottle of mutli vitamins for DMX. Sad to see a troubled man doing bad but it seems like he knows what direction he wants to go in next. Can we do it WITHOUT all the cussin?
